an existing deal, you need to look at one which has.

So why *wouldn't* they want one with the UK? Especially as many
obstacles they're making much of, such as customs borders between Eire
and Northern Ireland, would then go away ...


I think you'll find the Irish on both sides of the border are making a
rather bigger song and dance about the results of it being closed again.
As will have to happen with no free trade agreement.
