Just as a note:Â* Whirlpool took over Maytag on April 1, 2006.Â* My washer
was
produced later in 2006 and it destroys clothes.Â* Don't blame the
problems on
the Maytag people who built quality machines for years in the US.Â* I
gave up
one of these quality machines (still working fine, just needed a new
tub) for
the new Whirlpool models.Â* This was a big mistake.Â* Does anyone know of a
manufacturer of a top loader with an agitator that really works?

Maytag. Ours is a 2014 and has been perfect. Does not have the center
agitator though
