My sink looked exactly the same and felt rough. I thought for sure it was
abrasion. Bleach and strong multi purpose cleansers didn't work. I used a
non scratch sponge and a 50/50 dilution of vinegar and it came off!!! I
couldn't believe it. It must have been lime. Try it.
