will that give any flexibility? there is a
slight crack in the slab and i'm hoping to
have something a bit more flexible over it.

by slight i mean hairline...

i know there are rubber type additives but
i'm not sure they'd work for mortar mix.

in the end if this doesn't work the next
thing to do would be to get a grinder and
take the whole sill down to give it the right
slope. i'm not looking forwards to that
extreme tho...
