I once made a list of numbers (it was only the 1-digit ones then) and
removed the more meaningful ones from the list. It could have gone like
this:

0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

first, remove all the even numbers since they're EVEN

1 3 5 7 9

then, remove the square numbers (1 = 1*1, 9 = 3*3) which are a kind of even

3 5 7

five is half of 10, which gives it a sort of evenness by association
