My friend has a Briggs and Stratton Elite generator.

I believe it is a 7500 watt generator.

He is getting me the model number.

It is leaking fuel at the point where the arrow is pointing to.

There is an air filter on the right side of the picture.

The air filter was full of gas.

Can someone identify the metal bowl ?

I am thinking it is a fuel bowl.

Once I know what it is, I can order a replacement gasket.

Thanks,
Andy

It IS the carburetor float bowl, but the gasket is unlikely yo be the
problem. The float valve is leaking. Take it to a reputable small
engine shop and have it repaired. Then use ONLY ethanol free fuel, and
turn off the fuel or drain the tankwhen not in use.
