Sure, but thats inevitable as the results of the industrial
revolution ends up spreading to places like China etc.

For the same reason. Germany doesnt tho.

A good illustration of that is how Scotland's exports to the UK have grown
over the last 15 years while those to the EU have barely changed.

For different reasons entirely.
