I sold a machine to a guy in Chile a few years ago.
There was no duty.

Of course the single market is NOT a tarriff free zone. Its a
protectionist walled garden for European manufacturers designed to prop
them and unproductive European Labour up, who can trade freely inside it
only. The rest of the world has to be charged import duty.
