Do you recall the exact name? It was probably the symettric key text
encryption/decryption extension. I just checked, and there are over 1900
security-related extensions. The icon was always up top, but I don't think
anyone used it in the past year or so I did not pat much attention to it. I
think it looked like a stylized padlock.

In the meantime, I'll re-install access to my google drive. I do not think
this was the problem though. I had apparently disabled it after seeing how
slow it was.

As for IE11, I'd prefer to leave the office doc cache thing installed,
because I am almost certain that MS installs it by default and I want to
keep IE as 'stock' as possible. I only use it when I have problems with FF.

Currently, (sfter 52), FF support for google 'hangout' video-conferencing
is broken, and I do use IE for that sometimes.
