It's got a proximity sensor but I don't remember what it's supposed to
do.

YEAH, WELL I HAD MY LED LIGHT BULB IN MY KITCHEN HOOD ON ALL DAY AND IT
WAS TOO HOT TO TOUCH SO WHAT'S YOUR POINT?
