No, just any Brit who goes in the sun.

You have to leave the UK for that tho. It is why you used to have
colonies I guess.

Top temp last summer in the UK was 37C.
Many days it was over 25C and several over 30C.
The average temperature in England from June through to August is 21 - 22C.

We may hit 28-19C today (Feb 08) and it was 30 last week.
21-22 is called a cool winter day here although once or twice a decade
it may get down to 2 or 3 at night.

You don't need that much sun for a tan.

It needs to be warm enough to take your clothes off.

Bod quoted 21-22C for three months of the year. That's more than warm enough for nudity. In fact it's precisely what people call "room temperature". Add the sun's radiant heat to that, and it's very comfortable.

What do you do for sunshine the other 9 months of the year.

You don't need sunshine for 12 months to be tanned.

People used to believe TV sets weighed more when they were switched on, because the instructions stated "always switch off your set before attempting to move it".
