Many days it was over 25C and several over 30C.
The average temperature in England from June through to August is 21 - 22C.
We may hit 28-19C today (Feb 08) and it was 30 last week.
21-22 is called a cool winter day here although once or twice a decade
it may get down to 2 or 3 at night.
You don't need that much sun for a tan.
It needs to be warm enough to take your clothes off.
Bod quoted 21-22C for three months of the year. That's more than warm enough for nudity. In fact it's precisely what people call "room temperature". Add the sun's radiant heat to that, and it's very comfortable.
