Lot of good eating on that but I imagine that's out of the question. My
parents raised a pig -- once. They managed to turn it into pork chops
but it wasn't the most pleasant experience. Chickens are sort of
anonymous and dumb but a pig can grow on you so they stuck with chickens
after that.

Can you imagine the pig getting loose, running out in the street and being hit by a car? I wonder which would sustain the most damage? ヽ(ヅ)ノ

That was one of my mother's prime bitches. The pig would get loose and
go touring the neighborhood and she would have to go find it. Except
maybe rooting up a flower bed or two it never got into trouble. It just
wanted a little change of scenery and probably would have been home for
supper.

In later years I had a beagle that would do the same thing except I had
to bail him out of the pound every now and then. The dog would hunt but
in comparison the pig was a genius.
