I have a new found appreciation for machinists thanks to this guy.
That was a nice break from the day's work. Of course, now I'll end up working tonight. One thing that really did surprise me though - no sandblaster and no paint. It just sorta seems like if he could make it LOOK brand new, it would be a good thing. Most customers don't appreciate something working well unless it also looks shiny.
He said at the end that he doesn't do paint. It's going to another shop for that, which almost certainly means it's all going to get taken apart and later reassembled.
