hi,
we live in a cape cod with the standard 2 bedrooms upstairs(there
is a bedroom downstairs) but would really like to add a third(master
type)bedroom upstairs, above the sunroom(10x30)....

1)is this even possible?

2)what is the 1st step in beginning this, who would i call, ect?

3)is it possible to only have the outer part done by the
professionals..(framing,flooring ,roof and windows)and then we do all
the,drywall,painting ect.

My husband generally does all the home fixing and maintinance
but as this is something he has never done b4,he would rather have
qualified people
doing it.

thank you in advance for any help

wwell just thinking about it it reminds me of the time i built a
garage/workshop in the back yard.... i did it all by myself.. studied it
for about 6 months... but when doing it found out that a bag of nails
does not go to far.. i had to keep going back to the local hardware
store and buying more and more each day... found out that the regualar
hammers did not hit the nails so hard(they worked great for a 4 to 5
nail operation, but when hammering 100's or 1000's of nails it was like
using a toy to work with,, went to sears and had to buy a heavy duty
framing hammer to make the job run quicker.... the when the hammer arm
gave out with pain, i learned that if you contiue to us it the muscle
does not hurt any more.. i also learned that if you change arms then the
other arm will get the punishment..
