Default LCD Monitor problem

The internal interface connection between the LCD panel to its matrix
drivers may be having a fault, or the matrix address or signal driver itself
may be failing. This is usually serviced by changing the panel itself, or by
changing the drive board, if replaceable in that model. In many of these
monitors, the drive board and panel come as one assembly.

These monitors are generally sold with a 3 year warranty. Take it back to
the dealer. If the warranty is expired, they will charge you to service it.
They normally will not sell the parts to outside service people. They will
tell you to send them the monitor, if you try to buy the parts yourself.

If the monitor is out of warranty, my preference would be to buy a new one
rather than spend the dollars to service the old one. With a new monitor you
will have a full new warranty.
