Default Dell E770s intermittent green

What you should do, is monitor the video signal going in to the green gun at
the CRT base, and see if it the problem is there. If you have signal, and
the DC is correct, then it is the CRT, not the circuitry behind it.

If the signal or DC is changing, then trace back to find where the change is
originating. It is also possible to have a semi or some other part that has
become internally intermittent. It may not necessarily be a cold solder
connection.

Hello, i have a Dell E770s with an intermittent green gun. The problem
is in the monitor itself because the built-in testpattern shows no
green, just red, blue and black where green is suppsed to be. I have
resoldered almost everything leading to the green gun and has not
improved the condition. The problem is usually when its cold, but i
have seen it stay that way for hours before it returned to normal. Any
suggestions on what to replace or check? Could the driver be
intermittent or does it usually just "go"? Thanks in advance.
