No one is saying wear-levelling doesn't exist, but you seem to be saying

I think that discussion sums it all up. There is absolutely *no
correlation whatsoever* between what 'track and sector' is requested by
the operating system and what physical block of the SSD the data
actually resides upon.


Its perfectly possible that 'sector 33' is next door to sector 4569 on
the actual disk. And part of the same block which will need to be erased
when there are no free blocks left to write data too.
