A colleague came back from Europe at the weekend. They drove through
Belgium into France to get the chunnel. He said that as they came down
the motorway to the Belgium/France border, all traffic was directed off
at a junction, and straight back on the other side. No checks being
carried out, just a short stretch of motorway in the middle of the
junction closed (for no obvious reason).
