Very true. The referendum debate was conducted with candidates
appearing to make promises but they had no authority to do that.

The outcome of the referendum doesn't even promise to reduce
immigration.

Brexit extremists seem to think all their wishes have come true.

More that they think things will be better with Britain out of the EU.
And they are correct about that with the issues they care about.
