I've had a generator (it's a Honda) for about 10 years. I run it
for 10-15 minutes every month, using a heater or hair dryer for a
load. It always starts.


That is the whole idea as stated above...
A trouble like hooked to it for 20 minutes will do
unless you have them new state controlled lights.
