That would be a 1992 model. Side firing speakers, single tuner PIP,
one RF and two video inputs including s-video, and variable audio
output jacks. In its day, a pretty decent set. I would value the set
at $100 to $125, if it's in excellent condition, is guaranteed, was
used in a non smoking environment, and includes the original remote.

If you consider its purchase, make sure the vertical is repaired,
which will probably require several capacitors. He should also check
the caps in the power supply, and elsewhere as needed. A careful
visual inspection of pcb board should be performed to check for loose
and intermittent solder connections and repaired as needed.

Check to make sure the pix is not stretched or compressed, ie short
legs and/or long heads. To get some indication of the picture tube's
condition, ask to see a black and white channel. Make sure the pix is
truly B&W. Next, run the contrast up and down and make sure the colors
don't bleed at high brightness and contrast levels. If it fails either
test, the tube is probably going bad.

I would run, not walk. I find it hard to believe a reputable repair shop
would try and sell a set that clearly has a problem. Especially for $225
for a 10+ year old 30" set.....
