Old camper van window rubbers/seals, very hard, not cracking, yet.
Does silicone oil penetrate rubber and 'migrate' its plasticiser?
TIA

When I was restoring a Record Deck, I bought some rubber
conditioner, which worked well on the drive belt. It might also
work for seals. I can find the details if you wish.

Cheers Davey, any help much appreciated.

It is:

Platenclene, Print Roller Cleaner and Restorer.

Presumably used mainly in the printing industry.

Quote:
"Cleans rubber print rollers and restores grip."

Hope this helps.

No idea where I got it from, but it was online. A Search produces
hits, including Farnell, aka CPC, so that was probably my source.
