Still comes factory installed (under downgrade rights from Win10
licence) on a LOT of "corporate level" computers too - from Acer and
Lenovo for sure.

So, we have to buy RETAIL licenses at retail prices...
Or, retail computers (at retail prices)?

And, tell donors "No thanks, we can't use those scores of laptops
you want to donate cuz we'll have to BUY retail licenses for them"?
