I've got off with tickets for:

Making a cop laugh.
Pointing out a cop was also breaking the law.
Making fun of the cop's partner.
Distracting them with a less serious crime.

I don't think that would go down well. They do like my bumper stickers
though. I had one that said "Speed camera test vehicle". Now I have one
