They're the ones who inspired the Sandbox guys to actually start up
their idea. They'd thought about doing it, but hadn't done anything.
Then they found out there was one operating in Nevada, and decided to
go ahead with their dream.

variety of surplus army tanks and machine guns and have fun:

There used to be a place up in Princeton, MN, where people could rent
a genuine WWII Russian army tank. The owner had an "Ex's" special
deal: if you had a nasty breakup, you could bring some of your ex's
stuff up to his property, rent the tank, and just obliterate their
stuff. You could finish the job off on his machine gun range.
