Insane people doing insane things and calling it religion. Moslem's

He did not just murder his mother in a fit of insane rage, like a
typical insane person. (mothers are most at risk of being a victim of
a mentally ill person)

The story was quite different.

He was a Caliphate fighter and activist.

His mother was trying to convince him to quit the Caliphate.

He thought that it was an apostasy, a form of Islamic thought crime,
and reported her to the Islamic State, like a good Muslim.

Having considered the facts, the Caliphate decided to execute her.

Again, as a good muslim, the son volunteered to be the executor. He
murdered his Mom and is presumably in good graces with Allah now.
