Hello,
I just recently moved, and it seems my monitor was a causuality.
After it is on for less than a minute it loses its verticle hold.
Anything I can check and/or replace?
Thanks,
Brian
Given that it was just moved, I'd guess a bad solder joint or cracked
board that heats up and gets intermittent. Check the repair faq for
safety precautions before proceeding - lot of good info there.
With the back off, thoroughly check for cracked solder joints,
discolored or leaky capacitors, burn marks, etc. Use a magnifying
glass, and pay attention around the heavier, heat producing
components.
With the unit on, try gently poking the board with a stick and see if
you can recreate the problem which would definitely point to a cracked
board or solder joint.
