I think I get the rater but no picture. I could see a bright horizontal line
when I turn up the controls.
I took it to a shop. Cost was more than for a new set. I might buy a new
one.
I don't see filament lit though. I see some dark color in the back of tube,
something like what you
would see in a fused light bulb. I think HV (High Voltage ?) is present.

halfway accurate repair estimate..... TAKE it to a service shop..... it

not be done over the internet or telephone. It might be safer for you

better for your television.
