Default NEC NL10276AC30-03 LCD Panel CCFL Replacement

Hello folks,

I recently got the above 15'' LCD panel for nothing from work, as the
display had gotten darker and darker to the point of being unreadable. The
research that I have done on this problem so far leads me to the replacement
of the CCFL tubes that provide the backlight, or possibly the inverter that
powers these things.

The trouble I'm having is in locating the correct tubes to replace the ones
I have, and in determining the voltage requirements of said tubes (my
attempt to measure the voltage only elicited a rather chilling scream from
my meter, which I found out after maxes out at 400V).

From what I've read so far, apparently the voltage requirements of the tubes
is determined largely from their physical charateristics (length, diameter).
I've found some tubes that are fairly similar, but not exactly the right
size. The tubes that I have are approx 2mm x 302mm. The replacement I have
found are 3.2mm x 300mm.

Obviously, I'd prefer to have the exact tubes, but since I have nothing but
my time invested I'm prepared to do a little gambling if necessary. Any
suggestions you folks could offer would be very much appreciated.
