There is no archaeological evidence whatsoever of
a semitic presence in the new world. The Book or Mormon
has a big old war between the semitic presence and the
locals. The locals (American Indians) had a habit
of taking female captives as their wives. DNA tests
on the locals would be replete with semitic evidence,
as is Neanderthal DNA evidence is in Europeans.
I can walk in the foot steps of Jesus and the Apostles.
I stood were Saint Paul preached in Corinth. You can
do not such thing from the Book of Mormon.

So I was just interested on how, without any archaeological
or DNA evidence, you would handle the comment. You
handled it by pure faith alone, which is okay. I take
a lot of things on faith alone myself.

The Christian Jesus and the Mormon Jesus are not the same
dude. That you reuse our names, I choose to take as
flattery rather than an insult. Don't worry, you are not

With my computer running slow, I won't try and find
URL for you. However, there is plenty of evidence. You
can check BYU web site, and I think there's one
called FARMS, which I can't remember what that means.
Fonundatient for Ancient Research Mormon Studies, or
some thing. I've heard that "no evidence" bit many
times from people. You just aren't looking in the
right places. Lots of evidence.

And the true evidence is prayer, and the witness of
the Spirit. Which doesn't do much for me, when I read
what you write.
