You seem to attract black widows. I'm not sure I've ever seen one in the
wild.

I think the ones in my front yard and porch were attracted by the mulch
that we put on our front flower beds. Twice we put mulch out skipping
some years in between and both those times the black widows showed up in
the same area. That's the only common factor that I can think of, anyway.
