That's one of the things that frustrates me since I have all kinds of wireless gear back at the house that I can experiment with. I want to receive a 2.4 Ghz signal and send it back out as a 5 Ghz signal but with NAT. Putting the setup across the room would cure the interference problem from Bluetooth. ^_^

I could get Stinky to bring me some stuff. He brought my TV and one one of my tablets for me but he'd have to dig through everything to find the required WiFi equipment. One reason I'm inquiring here is that I can purchase an Edimax 5Ghz access point from Woot for $20 and it could possibly work for what I wish to do. I may order it anyway if I have enough money in my toy budget for next month. I have 13 cents left this month after paying all my bills. ^_^

get yourself up and running and then put the rest of the stuff on
Craigslist/eBay.

Stinky could probably find one of my 2.4Ghz routers and power supplies but I'm trying to remember where the darn things are. I still want to get one of the 5Ghz AP's because it's a hard deal to pass up and I don't plan on staying here much longer. I'm getting stronger by the day and have surgery scheduled for tomorrow morning to get rid of a hydrocele and cataract surgery next month. If I could get my orthopedic surgeon to reconsider knee replacement surgery, it wouldn't be long before I could walk again. The wound care specialist will be here today to check out my venous stasis ulcer and let me know the results of the biopsy. I'm fed up with being off my feet and it's so darn frustrating to require help to do some of the simplest things. I want to get back to work and I'll retire when my heart stops again, for the last time. o_O
