The oil for my clippers has just run out (literally - seems that the

is about as oil-tight as a Royal Enfield or Sunbeam S7/8!).
Went to Boots, only Philips spray stuff/cleanser at £silly.
I hope that the oil isn't just light mineral oil - not the sort of
stuff I
want on such implements.

Is there a 'special' oil and a source? Can't seem to find anything
useful.

just use 3in1

i understood whale oil is the best since they use it on ballistic
missile gyros.
a runner up is: walnut oil (available from waitrose ) that wood workers
use as a non-rancid-turning oil. Or so i've heard.
