When I reached the point where Maggie is, with a small deposit

update:

I got some muriatic acid and used it on the deposit in the bottom (after
removing the water) and I left it there for a few hours. When I
re-filled the tank and flushed there was still some calcium deposit
where the bottom water jet hole is at even though a good majority of it
had dissolved. That's stubborn stuff!! I'm going to try again this
afternoon to get the last of it with some muriatic acid.

I hope that works well, for you. Sounds like the
stronger acid was needed. Such is life.
