Does being a member of society mean we have any obligation at all to
not only take responsibility for the quality of life it's citizens
live by, but also the moral messages we set in motion by either our
willingness to take a stand or not in any given issue?

Why should we care? Perhaps, we need to realize that the world we
allow I'm the present is the legacy we leave our children.
