What I find funny is the idea that maintaining fresh batteries to be
sure you can start a fire with a gum wrapper in an emergency is
somehow considered smarter than shucking the batteries, and instead
keeping a good, dry container with an equivalent weight in matches.
Remember, the comparative weight includes the gum. d8-)



Anybody that has ever smoked is far more resourceful at creating fire
than any non-smoker.
