With both Lidl and Aldi, larger branches can carry kitchenware,
outdoor clothing, stationary, bike stuff and tools etc. etc.
But with no continuity of supply, with ranges and lines changing
from week to week as posted beforehand on their websites
IME, smaller branches of Lidl may only stock food. The
nearest Aldi to me is smallish but still carries tools. Which
IME anyway are much better quality than what you might expect
at the price.
