Default Apex tv service menu?

Circuit City automatically returns these sets to the distributor because
specific parts are not available form the manufacturer. Also there is no
technical support of any sort. These sets are not serviceable unless it is
something very simple requiring only a generic part.

Did anyone ever find out any information on getting service manual or

access
to the service menu on these?

I tried e-mailing the company and calling them to find out about parts or
service information and they said they would only sell to authorized
servicers. Dead silence when I informed them that they were breaking the
law in many US States. If they sell the item, they MUST have available at
reasonable cost to any qualified servicer service information and parts.
When I asked for a supervisor, click the almost speaking English girl hung
up the phone.

Next time I called I asked about becoming an authorized servicer as there

is
not one within 200 miles of us. Only after much pushing I got the

warranty
reimbursement rates. $29 for a major repair labor on a 24'' and smaller

tv,
get real people. That won't even cover the paperwork costs and the time

for
the person who files the paperwork. On some brands we could count on COD
referal business, but for some reason I don't think we will get much on

the
super cheap stuff.
