Why do people insist on fitting air admittance valves outside?
...
are
they
mad?...you see them everywhere...!

They look much better than having a long 4" vent pipe going all
the
way
up
and 2ft above gutters.

what if they freeze up?...I know it is unlikely due to hot air in
the
system
.......I'll have to have another look at fitting instructions
.....

I'm a retired plumber and I cannot recall any durgo valve freezing.

good a plumber....why is my new 'Dudley syphonic flush' not worth a
monkey
in the flushing stakes ???? . ......

stuck my hand in and fiddled about with the membrane and it improved
somewhat ....but still a rubbish flusher

Membrane in the syphon stuck or damaged. If it worked properly in the
past,
then get a new syphon.

this is the new unit I am talking about...it never worked
properly...it's
just the hassle of fitting another one....

Ah, you know that you should've complained to the installer from the
beginning.

can't complain to myself.......

lol.

just visited a plumbers I used to do drain testing for in Paisley...he is
going to fit a new unit ....properly...tee hee
