Why are you scrapping it? Is there some serious damage to the machine
somewhere? Whats broken?

Dont tell me you are scrapping a perfectly good machine......?

It's not him who scrapped it, it's the people he bought it from.
He's trying to salvage what he can before rescrapping it.
The amount of perfectly good machines going into dumps and metal
salvage in the past 50 years is enough to make any one of us angry,
and want to throw up. Horrible.

A smart guy with some money would grab them all and get them over to
China/India/etc. and start small companies with them, keeping them
producing and saving them from a fate worse than death.
