We've used it on trips several times before as well. It's not always
possible to get the absolute best price, but we do sometimes avoid paying
an extra $.30/gallon by stopping earlier or later.


I generally plan long trips around it, so saving $.30/gal isn't
difficult at all.


Helps to know what states to avoid. Fill up before leaving NJ so you
don't have to buy gas in CT where some stations are still over $3.
