I would like to find out how I can attach a Supernova chuck to my 9"
South Bend Lathe bearing in mind that the SBL has nose spindle thread
of 1 " x 8 tpi.

Teknatool must make a 1 X 8 insert for the SuperNova chuck. I have used one on
a Jet Mini, which also has a 1X8. 1X8 is a very common spindle thread. Check
the Craft Supplies USA catalog . They sell the SuperNova chuck and the inserts
for your lathe.
