That's why they make cable tension gauges...to match stuff up or to
tension it to certain specs.
Ill wait and see if the gent with the airplane cable gizmo wants to
sell/swap/trade

I could use a recommendation for a serpentine belt tension gauge that
can be applied and read in tight places. The quarter-turn test doesn't
keep my alternator belt from squealing on cold morning startups.
Has anyone tried this one?
