Default Triton Respirator

I expect that he is not planning on living forever, and wants to do things
he loves/likes in whatever time he has left. Can relate to that! Although I
think if he used LDD he might stand a better chance! *G*

My mentor, who is 83 or something like that, has been turning for nearly

20
years and has NEVER worn any kind of dusk mask. Since he's retired he
spends 4 to 8 hours a day woodturning. That said, 2 years ago he had half
of a lung removed from cancer. Don't know if it was caused by the wood

dust
or that fact that he smokes a pack a day. Of course there are people out
there who don't believe that smoking causes lung cancer so there will be
people who won't believe wood dust can. I don't know about either but try
to play it moderately safe and always wear lung protection when working in
the shop.

And yes he still smokes and turns with no dust protection. Go figure.

I'd suggest you get some evidence that the filters are rated at 99.97%

Yeah, yeah, yeah, along with grilled hamburgers, mother's milk, sodium
cyclamates, paraquat....others?

oh yeah, and opportunistic advertisers.

Anybody every know ANYBODY who was diagnosed with cancer as a direct
result of exposure to wood dust?
