Default Highrises have fires, how safe to exercise in stairwells?

It's been a lot of years, but I remember hearing
of positive pressure stair wells. Someone figured
out to pump outdoor air in, which helps keep the
stairwells smoke free. Not sure anyone does this
now.

WHich is pretty much what I said. Positive pressure VENTILATION.
Although on further review I did do a lousy job of explaining what I
meant..
