No it isn't.

Once selected he will still be whipped.

Major industrial sponsors aren't going to sponsor a party that cant whip
through a bill that makes profits for them.

And without them, who will pay someone to write the spin that gets them
elected?

The business of government is a machine to remove wealth from individuals
and concentrate it in the pockets of those in government and those who
sponsored them.
