We have some bits of wall which are a mixture of a rough finish and flat
render.
The rough finish seems to be more like a very rough gritty paint than a
pebble dash.
The edges are quite sharp, and there are raise peaks, but no large grains
in the finish.
Has anyone come across this, and knows what the wall treatment might be?

Tyrolean Finish put on with a special cement "splatter "gun.

There are various acrylic coatings for interior use usually applied with
a textured roller, and generally they work ok outside if overpainted
