I presume you were not working in Brixton (Coldharbour ward has around 11
shootings a year). Add in the rest of Lambeth and you've got about 37/year
average.

I've done odd jobs there and walking around with a PC under my arm in
broad daylight was slightly worrying. I have driven there at night and
that was enough to tell me to never be there on foot after dark.

I liked Lambeth (or the part I was working in but like most places you only
have to travel half a mile to be in a **** hole). East Dulwich was also fine
but there was a shooting in Camberwell cemetery which was 1000m away from
where I was working. Deptford scared the **** out of me at night. Tottenham
was a bit ****e but not scary even at night

The scariest place was Canary Wharf. It must be the most boring place in the
world.
