You still fail to understand the difference between uploading and
downloading.

The way the DMCA is written, you are in violation when you make
copywrited works available to others - as you do when you participate in
a torrent. When you download from a file-locker or usenet, you are
still obtaining the work in question, but you're not facilitating others
to obtain it.

Just ask ChairWoman - because he also downloads copywrited works from
usenet. Why else would he be paying for usenet access if all he does is
read and post to text groups?
